Rocks are like books, and geologists have learned to read their messages. Through the examination of actual rock samples from around the United States, children will be taught how to unlock the mysteries within rocks.

I am a geologist, and I travel around the US collecting dinosaur fossils. In this program I explain how I locate the fossils, and the types of fossils that can be found. During the talk, I will show samples of my fossils including teeth, bones, footprints, eggshells, gastroliths, coprolites and amber.
