The NATIONAL CIRCUS PROJECT provides spectacular circus performances, exciting circus skills workshops and amazing student and camper circus shows. Our incredible programs are designed to generate enthusiasm, encourage motivation and self-discipline, and to foster creativity and confidence in “children of all ages”! We are a non-profit organization that exists to preserve and promote traditional circus arts through education and entertainment. For the past 25 years NCP has provided circus arts performances, residencies, workshop programs, teacher training seminars and more to schools, recreational centers, libraries and camps throughout the Eastern US. NCP's circus education programs are presented at every grade level - from elementary through university. Since its inception, our education specialists have presented over 5,000 circus performances and conducted more than 50,000 hands-on workshops, involving almost 6,000,000 students. Our international artist exchange program brings cultural dimension to the arts experience and has included acclaimed circus artists from England, Australia, Puerto Rico, Russia, Latvia and the People's Republic of China. The National Circus Project has been recognized with a US Congressional Commendation for "helping to further the cause of international understanding" through its artistic exchange programs.
