ORPHAN TRAIN RIDERS----I am the author of 4 books on the subject. The largest mass relocation of children in America took place during the orphan train era 1854-1929. Over 400,000 children were transported by rail out of NYC and major cities. They were America's first foster children. I do a lecture/video presentation. Life in the 19th Century could be brutal. When adults fell victim to alcoholism, job loss, or drugs, the children were the first to suffer.

Originally created as an instructive program for theatrical makeup artists and facepainters, Before Cave Walls… has developed into a performance proven fascinating for artists of all fields and general audiences as well, including family audiences, adults and college students.
