It's in the Bag! Disability Awareness,
Performing Arts- Theater,
Performing Arts- Storytelling
Choose from 4 Programs: “It’s in the Bag!” What’s in the bag? Discover “The Paper Bag Princess” by Robert Munsch, a mystery, fables, tangram puzzles, improvisations, and more! “A Show of Hands” Explore Sign Language from behind the curtain--literally! Actors poke their hands out through the curtain to create scenery, tell stories, make jokes, and teach Sign Language. Following, enjoy poems, stories, and audience involved improvisation that is sure to delight! “The Experience of the McWilliamses” Along with “Signing Fun” is “The story of the McWilliamses,” one of several stories Mark Twain wrote of this infamous couple. The audience is regaled with the humor of their experiences, which ring all too true when a simple cough from a child turns the household topsy-turvy. “The Diaries of Adam and Eve” This show features two works by Mark Twain involving Adam & Eve’s reactions to their new world. Catering to all, Mark Twain shares his views on humanity, as only he can. This humorous view of the male/female relationship takes you on a surprisingly sentimental journey from The Beginning to the bittersweet end.
