Performing Arts- Puppetry
A Barrel of Fun offers a wide variety of music programs, both educational and comedy based. All of our performances include a various assortment of instruments. All shows are audience interactive. Music programs offered are: World Tour of Music (Educational and entertaining) American Music Tribute (Educational and entertaining) Bongo Joe (Percussion and stringed instruments) Banjo Man (Music variety) Ukulele Lady (Music variety) Catfish Charlie (Camp songs & comedy) Rattlesnake Red (Western & comedy) Side Saddle Sue (Western & comedy) Some shows are theme adaptable for summer reading programs. Performing Arts- Clowning
A Barrel of Fun comedy/variety shows, may include music, magic, ventriloquism and juggling, depending on the show. All shows have lots of audience participation and have been performed in almost 200 libraries, with many repeat engagements. These programs are appropriate for preschool through elementary children and families. Comedy shows available are: Professor Klutzo (Comedy/Variety) Music, magic, ventriloquism and juggling. Pete The Pirate (Comedy/Variety) Music, magic and ventriloquism. Bongo Joe (World-wide percussion,stringed instruments and ventriloquism with soft puppet characters.) Catfish Charlie (Comedy/Variety) Camp songs with audience participation, comedy and ventriloquism. Rattlesnake Red (Cowboy character/musical variety) Comedy and ventriloquism. Side Saddle Sue (Cowgirl character/musical variety) Puppet Shows-See our listing under Puppet Shows. Performing Arts- Puppetry
A Barrel of Fun has a variety of puppet shows available. All shows include a live musical and ventriloquist soft puppet warmup with audience participation. Puppet shows include delightful, believable hand puppet characters who also sing with music tracks. All of our puppet shows are audience interactive, FUNNY and engaging. Summer library reading programs are our a specialty, featuring each year's state theme. For this summer's One World, Many Stories theme, we suggest The Enchanted Kingdom Puppet show.
