**Dry Ice** Explore the 3 states of matter and witness the phenomenon of sublimation as we demonstrate the unique properties of dry ice and the spectacular (smoke) it creates. Learn all about dry ice while experiencing the famous Mad Science potions (Mad Science Burp,the Mad Science Bubble Bath, and the Mad Science Cemetery Scene). Everyone will leave the workshop with a fascinating color changing Mad Science Thermochromic Cup.(Requires electricity and access to hot water) Mad Science Enrichment Programs are fun explorations into science and technology, and they encourage informal learning through hands-on experience. All Mad Science workshops include a lot of fascinating equipment, supplies, and take-home materials which the children build themselves. Our only requirements are: a room that can be darkened if needed, with tables and chairs where the children can work comfortably; a small table to set up our equipment and access to water and electricity. **Keep in Touch** Children will learn how they understand the world with their sense of touch and will also emphasize that some objects are safe to touch while others are not. The preschoolers will be presented with the challenge of identifying a variety of objects using only their sense of touch. They will also experiment with an interesting and innovative material to model their very own creation. These are programs specifically designed for children ages 3 and 4, and take place at your location.
