Here is the perfect presentation for the centennial of the war that was supposed to end all wars. With this program we use vintage film clips of both silent and early sound film excursions into the subject of WWI, starting with the propaganda films of D.W. Griffith and Eric Von Strohiem as well as examining later films and made for TV productions dealing with the subject of the war and it's aftermath. This program explores the power of propaganda and it's importance during war time, as well as the repercussions of loaded and insightful imagery that is often used in times of conflict. Praise from Linda White of Elmont Public Library regarding World War One As Seen Through Hollywood's Lens: Your presentation was Superb from the beginning to the end. The audience was captivated, all eyes were on the screen. All the drama at the beginning and the end was totally unexpected. Great job Mr. Director. I never watch War Movies; but this program kept my interest. Highly Recommended! Our Patrons can't stop talking about it. Keith keep your programs coming, they are the Very Best !!!
