The group songwriting workshop is an opportunity to literally raise our voices and create a song that powerfully expresses our feelings and ideas. When we tell our story honestly, we create an opportunity for those around us to grow, heal and find connection. When we raise our voices together, we put a powerful message into the world that can help us create real positive change. As a group we will share our struggles and our hopes and choose a theme we’d like to shine a light on. Together, we will create and perform a song that shares that message. Each participant will leave with a recording of the new song that she helped bring into the world.

Tales of Kings and Queens, Knights, Dragons, and even Nursery Rhymes to satisfy even the Queen herself! Program encourages books, stories and poetry from the library. A musical program that features songs, stories and poetry reminiscent of the Renaissance and Medieval times. Costumed musicians (Merlyn & Harry)will give history lessons that make history come alive with humor and harmonies! All set in a language that can be understood by the general wee one to the Lord and Lady of the house!

The “Light a Candle” workshop aims to spark creativity, helping participants find and use their own voices. As a group, we choose a theme or idea that we would like to shine a light on with our work. Creative prompts and brainstorming get our juices flowing, and we’ll work individually on our own creations. This might include art, writing, or musical expression. Afterwards, will each get a chance to share our work and discuss what we’ve learned. The act of raising our voices honestly can become a powerful source of positive change and connection. The “Light a Candle” workshop puts participants in touch with their own voices, helping them learn to express themselves powerfully.

The Songs to Start a Fire “Magic Circle” Workshop brings the participants together in a circle to co-create an atmosphere of safety, healing, and possibility. Today we are faced with constant messages about how to act, feel, and look. The songs and exercises in this workshop put the power back where it belongs: in our own hearts and minds. Inside the circle, participants find the safety and support they need to give voice to their fears and struggles. As we share and sing with the group, we begin to break down the walls of isolation and self-doubt. Through positivity, honesty and raised voices, participants find the compassion to befriend themselves, and the courage to become their own hero.

In the middle of the cold, snowy, dark days of winter what could be more welcome than a warm and cozy night of music and melody, love and laughter shared with the whole family? Chip's Cabin Fever Concert can be just the thing to get us through to spring. It's a wonderful community outreach event that will entertain, inspire, educate and just be plain fun.

A 45-minute Christmas season show with sing a longs of holiday music from Victorian Christmas to the favorites of the present, wrapped up with some fun poetry and silly holiday puns! Sing alongs and humor will be a great addition to your community event! Musicians come dressed in Victorian Christmas costuming or in festive holiday apparel to set the mood for your event!
