Rogers, Robert Skyscraper Acres History,
Nature- Gardening,
Performing Arts- Puppetry
Celebrating Building a better world: What's way up there on the top of that gleaming new skyscraper? that surprising fringe of green that overlooks the hustle and bustle of the busy city below? It's an old fashioned farm, tended by Hank Bluejeans, whose family has grown fruits and vegetables season after season, as far back as anyone can remember. Well, it wasn't always so way up high. How did it get there? And why? This is a story about embracing the future while cherishing the past - or roots, as Hank Blujeans might say.

Field, Barb Balloon Art! Performing Arts- Clowning,
Visual Arts- Other
BJ and Company will custom design the right program for your needs. We have worked extensively with children and families and performed hundreds of shows. BJ will encourage the participants to have fun while they use their own creative ideas to design unique balloon sculptures. She will show them how to prepare the balloons and a few different ways to twist them. Then they will need to think and plan ahead. This involves a little bit of painless, hands-on deliberating about dividing and fractions … how much balloon do I have left to twist how many legs??? Although some participants may want to learn how to make a standard balloon dog, BJ prefers to encourage them be creative on their own and see what they can design. We can also add on a brief BALLOON MAGIC SHOW or just perform the show with no hands-on twisting by the audience. THIS PROGRAM IS BEST SUITED FOR SECOND GRADE TO ADULTS. www.bjandcompany.com 607-432-0988

We look at the emotional, life-cycle and financial rewards and challenges of arts careers, and the transferable skills related to studying the arts throughout a lifetime. I provide a wealth of unbiased resources and information about a range of performing arts training programs, colleges and universities, and careers.
