Performers and Programs

Program Information

Program name: Three Apples Fell from Heaven: Stories from Everywhere
Program category: Multicultural- Other
Performing Arts- Storytelling
Program length: On hour
Audience level: Adult
Audience size: any size
Program description: The tradition of the storyteller crosses all cultures. Everyone joins in, calling forth the story in the ways of many lands. We hear tales from everywhere: a Lakota fable with animal sages, a Hasidic tale of love, the journey of a sassy cat in search of a mate from Zimbabe, a Hispanic trickster tale where grandmother lovingly outwits death himself. Sing-along songs with easy movement get everyone involved as we travel afar and feel at home together. Wherever Carole tells story she creates community. The program is adapted to the needs of the group and its participants. Carole Forman has performed story programs around the U.S. and Canada for audiences of all ages. A professional actress, (on Broadway once), she has the ability to engage her audience and get them involved. Wherever Carole tells story she creates community.
Space/special requirements: none
Travel restrictions: none
Program fee: $501- $1000

Notes about the fee:
Other notes: A body mic is preferred if available-- especially with a senior audience. I bring my own but it's good it you also have one just in case. I like to set up the room in a semi-circle so we are closer together in community style. I always adapt to the group.
