Program description: What makes New York City so exciting, so alluring? No matter how many times you visit, or even if you’ve lived there for a lifetime, New York City’s five boroughs provide a never-ending source of new discoveries. In a city of over 8 million people, 200 nationalities, hundreds of museums, parks and historic sites, and thousands of restaurants, the possibilities for surprise and delight are endless! We’ll explore in-depth several favorites from a new perspective and discover new, exciting and often underappreciated urban gems. And, of course, wherever we “go”, we’ll find the best foods and places to eat. You’ll leave with comprehensive handouts and most likely a prize or two! Power-point presentation.
