Program description: Japanese theater, with bunraque and other forms of puppetry. A contemporary story “The Mountain that Loved a Bird” is woven through this performance about ambition, integrity and caring for ones world. A brief demonstration of different puppet styles follows each program.
Space/special requirements: The performance requires a minimum area 20’ x 20’ . A raised stage is recommended for large audiences (over 100) but may be played in a more intimate setting for smaller groups.
