Welcome to the Long Island Performers Database The Performers and Programs database provides public libraries and others interested in programming, with information about performers who provide programming to libraries in New York State. Performers and program presenters are encouraged to sign up. You'll be asked to enter contact information for your performance and information about each of the programs you offer to libraries. The theme for the children's 2008 NYS Summer Reading Program is "Catch the Reading Bug@Your Library". The teens theme, for the 2007 New York State Summer Reading Program is "Metamorphosis@ YOUR LIBRARY".
As you plan your summer programs, remember that not all public libraries will use the offical NYS theme for their Summer Reading Programs!
